The App allows users to capture or upload room and paint photos, analyze paint colors, receive brand and palette suggestions, generate AI room previews, save scan history, and purchase subscriptions or credit packages for premium functionality.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the App:

• Photos and Image Content: Images you capture with your camera or select from your photo library for paint color analysis or AI room preview generation.
• Analysis and Preview Data: Detected color values, palette data, color family, undertone, suggested paint brand matches, generated room preview images, request identifiers, and related result metadata.
• Account and Identifier Information: Anonymous authentication identifiers and internal user IDs used to operate the App, associate saved history with your account, and manage credits or premium access.
• Saved History: Scan history records you create in the App, including selected paint results, saved preview entries, timestamps, and image URLs for uploaded room photos and generated preview results when applicable.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including first open, onboarding completion, paywall views, purchase events, feature usage, and similar analytics events.
• Device and Technical Information: Device, app, diagnostic, and network-related information that may be collected by Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, or other infrastructure providers to support app functionality, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
• Purchase and Subscription Information: Information related to subscriptions, one-time credit purchases, entitlement status, and transaction events processed through Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate you and maintain your App account, credits, purchase state, and premium access.
• To analyze paint colors from submitted images and return color detection results.
• To generate AI room previews using your room image and selected paint color.
• To save and display your scan and preview history inside the App.
• To process purchases, restore transactions, and manage subscription or entitlement status.
• To monitor performance, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and improve the App experience.
• To respond to support requests or legal obligations where applicable.

4. Photos, Camera Access, and AI Processing

Because the App relies on image-based paint analysis and AI editing, content you submit may be processed as follows:

• Camera and Photo Library Access: The App requests camera access so you can capture paint or room photos, photo library access so you can choose existing images for analysis, and photo library add permission if you choose to save generated images to Photos.
• Paint Color Analysis: Images submitted for color analysis may be processed locally and may also be sent securely to backend services for color interpretation and matching.
• OpenAI Processing: Submitted analysis images and derived fallback color hints may be transmitted securely to OpenAI through our backend in order to identify dominant colors, palette values, undertones, and related paint match information.
• AI Room Preview Processing: If you use the room preview feature, your room image and selected paint color may be uploaded and sent securely to trusted AI processing providers, including FAL AI, to generate the preview result you requested.
• Storage for Preview Features: Source room images and generated preview results may be stored using our cloud storage infrastructure so they can be linked to your saved preview history in the App.
• No Sale of Image Content: We do not sell your submitted photos, analysis inputs, or generated preview outputs to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

• Service Providers: Providers that help us operate the App, such as Google Firebase (authentication, cloud functions, database, analytics, and storage), OpenAI (paint color analysis through our backend), FAL AI (AI room preview generation), RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management), and Apple App Store (payments and in-app purchases).
• Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.
• Business Protection: When reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, systems, or services, including investigating fraud, abuse, payment issues, or security incidents.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

• Account Records: Anonymous account identifiers, credits, subscription status, and related account records may be retained while your account remains active in our systems.
• History Records: Paint scan and room preview history entries may remain stored until they are removed from our systems or no longer needed for service operation.
• Submitted Images: Submitted or uploaded images may be retained for the time needed to complete analysis or preview generation, support saved history, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service reliability, subject to our backend and storage provider workflows.
• Analytics and Transaction Records: Analytics events and purchase-related records may be retained as needed for product improvement, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including relying on established cloud infrastructure providers for authentication, storage, database, analytics, and processing functions. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review and delete the data where appropriate.
