Welcome to Color Sudoku ("App"), provided by Hamza Canbaz ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our mobile Sudoku game services.

1. Introduction

By using Color Sudoku, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The App allows users to play Sudoku, track progress, optionally sync progress to cloud services, participate in daily challenges and leaderboards, create custom themes, and purchase premium plans or coin packs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the App:

• Gameplay and Progress Data: Level progression, streaks, completion stats, achievements, wallet balances (coins, hint credits), selected themes, and gameplay settings.
• Daily Challenge and Leaderboard Data: Challenge attempts, run identifiers, completion metrics (such as final time, mistakes, hints used, pause count), and display name if you set one.
• Custom Theme Content: If you use the custom theme feature, images you choose from your device and related metadata (theme name, IDs, timestamps).
• Account and Identifier Information: Anonymous Firebase authentication user ID, session identifiers, experiment assignment IDs, and internal identifiers needed to operate app features.
• Usage and Diagnostics Data: In-app event telemetry (for example screen views, onboarding steps, purchase events, game events), app version, platform type, and technical context used for product analytics and reliability.
• Purchase and Subscription Information: Entitlement status, plan/pack purchase events, restore events, and related transaction status data from Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not store full payment card details.
• Device and Technical Information: Limited technical/device data that may be collected by platform and infrastructure providers to deliver authentication, cloud sync, storage, billing, anti-fraud, and service stability.
• Support Information: Information you share when contacting us for support.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

• Directly from You: When you play the game, change settings, set a display name, create a custom theme, participate in daily challenges, make purchases, or contact support.
• Automatically Through the App: When you use the App, technical and analytics events are generated for app functionality, diagnostics, and product improvement.
• From Service Providers: We receive subscription, entitlement, purchase, authentication, and related operational data from providers such as Apple, Google Play, Firebase, and RevenueCat.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide core gameplay and save your progress.
• To support optional cloud sync and account continuity through anonymous authentication.
• To process and display daily challenge and leaderboard results.
• To create and store custom themes you request.
• To process purchases, restore transactions, and manage premium/coin entitlements.
• To monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, reduce abuse, and improve product quality.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and systems.

5. Game Data and Custom Theme Processing

Because Color Sudoku includes cloud sync, leaderboard, and custom theme features, your content may be processed as follows:

• Gameplay Processing: Progress and gameplay outcomes are processed to unlock levels, maintain streaks, calculate rewards, and provide app features.
• Leaderboard Processing: Daily challenge performance data is processed to rank results and show leaderboard entries.
• Custom Theme Images: If you create a custom theme, selected images may be uploaded to cloud storage and linked to your anonymous account so your theme can be used across sessions/devices.
• Optional Cloud Sync: Some gameplay/profile data can be stored in cloud databases when cloud features are enabled in the App.
• No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

• Infrastructure and App Service Providers: Google Firebase for anonymous authentication, cloud database operations, cloud storage, and analytics/telemetry infrastructure.
• Subscription and Purchase Providers: RevenueCat for entitlement and purchase management, and Apple App Store / Google Play for in-app billing and payment processing.
• Legal Requirements: If required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.
• Business Protection: When reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, systems, or services, including investigation of fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We require service providers handling data on our behalf to apply appropriate safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the App and fulfill purposes in this policy.

• Account/Identifier Records: Anonymous identifiers and related account state may be retained while your app account remains active in our systems.
• Gameplay and Cloud Sync Data: Progress, settings, and related cloud records may be retained while needed for service continuity and user experience.
• Leaderboard and Event Records: Daily challenge, telemetry, and transaction-related records may be retained for operations, analytics, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance.
• Custom Theme Assets: Custom theme metadata and image URLs may be retained while the related feature/account remains active or until removed from our systems.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards and rely on established infrastructure providers for authentication, storage, sync, and billing operations. However, no transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to children under 13 as a standalone children's service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review and delete data where appropriate.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by us or our service providers. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
